Club Run – Sylvandale Pre WWII Show

It is that time of the year ladies and gentleman girls and boys to once again present our 8th Annual Sylvanvale Pre WWll Car Show to all our Vintage and Classic Car enthusiasts from the Shire and throughout Sydney!

Our exceptional extravaganza of vintage vehicles presented to you all from a bygone era will once again be displayed on the asphalt in the Sutherland Shire Car Park in Flora St Sutherland from around 0800 on Sunday 18th August’24 supported by Sutherland Shire Council. This event is one of Sutherland Shire’s largest and most popular community events on the annual calendar.

Featuring a spectacular array of more than 100 vintage cars, food stalls and raffles, it’s always a fantastic day out for all the family to enjoy.

With crowds in excess of 5,000 people meandering around these precious collectables their owners loyally standing by their baby’s just waiting for spectators and the general public to ask them any questions that you may want to ask them.

All funds raised will support Sylvanvale clients to be fully included in their community by purchasing a brand new accessible vehicle.

Everyone deserves the chance to participate fully in society. Access to a fit-for-purpose vehicle makes all the difference for people with disability to be able to get out and about in their community to be included in Social activities.

Funds raised this year from the Sylvanvale Pre WWll Car show will go towards purchasing and modifying a new wheelchair vehicle for the exclusive use of people Sylvanvale supports.

I must also mention the very important independent entries we receive from all over Sydney and the Blue Mountains that helps make our day the raging success that it is.

The venue/area where we exhibit our multi million dollar extravaganza in the Sutherland Shire Council Car Park in Flora Street Sutherland has ample parking for well over 100 exhibitors vehicles plus plenty of easy entry and exit parking facilities for hundreds of spectator vehicles (including disability parking close to all the action).

Where else in Sydney can you possibly go to have so much fun with the whole family for an entrance charge of $10.00 per adult OR $15.00 per family.

If that’s not a good story, I don’t know what is.
Once again I am looking forward to catching up with many acquaintances and friends that I have met over the many years of being the Custodian of this very special event.
I am also looking forward on Sunday 18th August to meeting a bunch of new car enthusiasts to keep this vintage vehicle passion alive and well into the future for the younger generation.
